This isn't really a new foreword, just a note that, at the time of this post, it's likely that there are some formatting problems and typos. I hope to get them corrected at some point, but right now I'm going to make newer products a priority.
If you spot a spelling or other content error, please let me know in the comments.
If you spot something ugly or messy about formatting, please try to roll with it. I know the tables in particular have problems, and there's some font weirdness--it's an artifact of cutting-and-pasting from the cumbersome old Microsoft Word document from which Beautiful Plans was originally published. The original document was all full of fancy style sheets that make it work great in Word, but which make it not export cleanly to other document formats let alone HTML.
For those who prefer the original document, want a document that will print cleanly, or need to work offline, Beautiful Plans is also available as a a PDF. Download it here . (My current hosting provides limited bandwidth, so if you want to work from the PDF, please right click, save it to your computer or device, and work with your own copy.)
